Over the years, I had the privilege of spearheading the creation of social videos and stills for Shiseido Global. My journey included collaborating with a diverse array of photographers and prop stylists, each project bringing its own set of creative challenges and opportunities. In the final phase of my work with Shiseido Makeup, I stepped into the role of both photographer and videographer, establishing an in-house studio in a modest closet space. With just a few lights rigged and a team of enthusiastic co-workers, we embraced a spirit of experimentation and innovation. This unique setup allowed us to produce some of the most unconventional and enjoyable content, showcasing our collective creativity and willingness to push boundaries.

Professionally shot content
Content I creative directed but was shot by professional photographers & Videographers. These shoots were all concepted by me and mocked up prior to shooting. We would present them the same as a campaign with themes and mood boards. I would build out & design each shot almost to exact precision of how the final image would appear. Then we would shoot them with an amazing team of professionals.
Content that I concepted, directed, mocked up, test ran, and ended up shooting myself on an IPhone max pro. Well to be honest I had some amazing helping hands most of the time. My co-workers would join me in a crammed closet as I directed lightening and product movements. We had to get scrappy when budgets became more of an issue. But with a team willing to listen to all my crazy ideas, help in the process, and laugh and moan the whole day through we did it!
